Anil Kumar is an experienced product leader with deep technical knowledge and strong business acumen to create innovative data products and market-winning strategies. With a rich background in databases, data platforms, big data, and cloud technologies, Anil specializes in cloud-native and highly-distributed systems. Currently, he serves as the Head of Products for EDB's Postgres Transactional Services, driving forward the company's flagship database solutions. His career includes transformative roles at leading tech firms such as Axon, where he pioneered cloud-native platform services; Couchbase, where he advanced NoSQL solutions; and Microsoft, where he refined SQL technologies. Anil's thought leadership is also evident in his published work, earning him recognition as an authority in Cloud-Native Database and Kubernetes platforms.
