Gabriele Bartolini, a PostgreSQL and Kubernetes enthusiast, is VP, Chief Architect of Kubernetes at EDB. He is a co-founder of PostgreSQL Europe, a founding member of Barman, and was previous Head of Global Support and co-founder at 2ndQuadrant—where he consistently contributed to the growth of the organization and its members through nurturing a lean and DevOps culture.
Gabriele holds a Statistics degree from the University of Florence, specializing in data mining and data warehousing.
Vibhor Kumar
VP, CX Technical Advisor
With 15+ years of leadership experience in designing innovative business solutions for customers., he has helped large enterprises (including Fortune 500) adopt, and scale their Open Source strategy through Postgres by migrating from proprietary databases or developing new applications in on-prem, microservices, or the cloud.
In his current role, he leads a team of highly skilled engineers across the world, ensuring that clients' Postgres database systems are optimized for maximum performance and scalability. In addition to EDB, I have worked at IBM, BMC Software, and CMC Ltd in India.
Vibhor has a Master's degree in Computer Application and is certified in MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, and PostgreSQL/Postgres Advanced Server.
Angel Camacho (moderator)
Director of Product Marketing, Database
Angel is the Director of Product Marketing for Databases at EDB. He attended De La Salle University in Mexico City and obtained his degree in Cybernetics and Computer Systems Engineering. After moving to California, he got his MBA from SFSU and a certificate in Data Science from UC Berkeley.
Angel has worked in various technical and marketing leadership roles in iconic companies such as Sun Microsystems, Cloudera, Aerospike, and Redis. He loves seeing customers adopt technologies to build data-oriented applications. Now, he is helping drive the message for EDB Postgres AI in all its formats and delivery vehicles, including on-premises, Kubernetes, and Cloud services.
