Dan Merzlyak is the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Data, Analytics & AI at EDB.
Dan is passionate about leveraging data and AI to drive innovation and transform how businesses approach data management and analytics.
At EDB, he leads a dynamic team focused on providing insights and enhancing customer outcomes through the strategic use of data, analytics, and AI, with a particular emphasis on utilizing EDB Postgres AI to help organizations optimize their data strategies.
He also oversees IT infrastructure, system integrations, and the administration of internal and customer-facing applications.
Throughout his career, Dan has held senior roles at BlackRock, London Stock Exchange Group, and Cerberus Capital Management, and has also served as a consultant, advising on data strategy and analytics for Fortune 500 and private equity-backed companies.
His leadership in data migration, transformation, and the application of AI has positioned him as a thought leader in the field.
He holds an MBA and MS in Business Analytics from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, along with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Statistical Sciences from Cornell University.
