Marc Linster, Ph.D.
Executive Fellow and Advisor
Marc Linster, Ph.D., is currently an executive Fellow and advisor to EDB. Marc has an extensive background in engineering, technology and logistics with 20 years of management experience. He holds a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat) in Computer Sciences from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. Before joining EDB, Marc spent four years at Polycom, the leading maker of video communications equipment, where most recently he was a Senior Director, Engineering for Cloud and Hosted Solutions. Before Polycom, Marc was Co-founder and President of TriPoint Interactive, a global supply chain consulting and systems integration company. He spent six years at Avicon Group, first as CTO and then as Vice President of Operations. Marc is an avid equestrian.

Customer Experience Technical Fellow
Vibhor Kumar is a data technology leader with over 18 years of experience specializing in data platform innovation and transformation for Fortune 500 clients. As the Customer Experience Technical Fellow at EDB, a leading Postgres and Data AI platform company, he drives technical innovation and strategic alignment in customer experience initiatives. His expertise in GenAI, Machine Learning, and database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DB2 allows him to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute impactful customer experience strategies. A recognized industry thought leader, speaker, and author, Vibhor is passionate about building trust and fostering long-term growth through strength-based leadership.
Erik Jones
Senior Support Engineer II
Erik Jones has spent the last 18 years working with PostgreSQL and the PostgreSQL community and ecosystem in various administrative, technical support, and architectural capacities both supporting and advising companies and PostgreSQL databases of all sizes. In his current role as a member of the EDB Technical Support team Erik spends a significant portion of his days working directly with the EnterpriseDB customer base. His duties there cover assisting our customers with troubleshooting their issues both big and small while also guiding them in the proper usage of the EDB and PostgreSQL toolset in order to avoid issues in the first place. The rest of his time devoted to coaching and training new EDB Technical Support team members and interfacing with the EDB development teams on issues raised in the course of his support work.
